About Paula Joyce
BRIEF PROFESSIONAL BIO
As a coach, facilitator and speaker, Paula helps people unleash their creative intelligence and use it to develop the work, relationships and health that they want. Since her unique process enables clients to access and integrate both sides of their brain, her business and personal clients quickly dissolve blocks to success, release stress and uncover new levels of energy and productivity. Her clients describe her as “insightful, wise and passionate with wonderful presentation skills.”
After teaching for only two years, Paula was tapped for staff development and leadership positions in the Dallas ISD. She expanded these roles at the University of Texas at Dallas and the Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD where as Director of Leadership Development, Paula coached and trained top level executives and spearheaded the successful implementation of many initiatives, such as teacher morale improvement, employee teams, strategic planning, servant leadership, and critical thinking.
Dr. Joyce has consulted with the Educational Testing Service, presented to both national and international audiences and has had her published work distributed internationally and translated into Spanish. In addition, she has completed many certification programs including Basic Mediation, Peer Mediation, Total Quality Management, Team Building, Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, Cognitive Coaching and Reality Therapy.
In 1997 Paula chose to pursue her love of painting. She has sold her hand-painted silks to Mary McFadden Couture and is currently selling her art-to-wear at The Modern Art Museum in Ft. Worth and at The Dallas Museum of Art. Paula’s art work has been exhibited in numerous juried shows. In 2005, she participated in her first international art exhibit and traveled to Israel for the opening.
Passionate about training, she soon combined her professional and creative knowledge to develop, Unleash Your Creative Intelligence. Paula has successfully used her process for such diverse groups as American Express Financial Services, Baylor University Medical Center, HR Southwest Human Resources Conference, TransSynergy Group, Women in Business Leadership Conference, The Jung Society and Unity Church.
Paula has a BA in English from the University of Michigan, a MEd from Boston University; and a PhD in Literacy Development from Texas Woman’s University. She also worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Cognitive Psychology Department at Yale University.
